Only available to buy on an invitation and referral basis, GQ declared the Vertex M100 ‘the coolest watch in the world’. We worked with British watchmaker Vertex to pay homage to the story of its legendary Caliber 59 military issue watch in its first advertising in 50 years.
‘Have you tried to make that type look like a medal pinned to a pocket?’
‘Yes, yes I have.’
‘And a cockpit, aircraft dials and a parachute jump behind enemy lines. The body copy is the enemy fire. See.’
They eventually all got simplified and screen printed and picked up Silver and Bronze at Creative Circle so all good.
